SYDNEY’S UNIVERSALLY ACCLAIMED RESTAURANT WHICH HAS WON MANY 'BEST RESTAURANT' AWARDS OVER THE YEARS, HAS NOW ALSO OPENED IN THE HILLS DISTRICT
The flagship Zaaffran at Darling Harbour, established in 1998, has achieved tremendous success. The owners decided to shift gears in 2008 and acquired One Ocean Seafood Restaurant at Castle Towers, aimed at serving Modern Australian Cuisine, with an emphasis on seafood.
The restaurant's name was changed to Zaaffran One Ocean. Besides seafood, the menu also includes Modern Australian delicacies in lamb, chicken, beef and vegetarian. Many dishes from the original Zaaffran Darling Harbour have also been added to the menu.

Since its inception in 1998, the award-winning Zaaffran Darling Harbour has been universally acclaimed for its unique cuisine by food writers from all over the world.
WINNER OF R & C 'BEST RESTAURANT' AWARD
Zaaffran at Darling Harbour has won the 'Specialty' Award for Best Restaurant in Sydney, awarded by the Restaurant & Catering Association, 3 years in a row. Zaaffran at Darling Harbour has also been a finalist for the Best Restaurant award for 7 years in succession. It is hoped that Zaaffran One Ocean, just like the flagship Zaaffran, will also win many 'Best Restaurant Awards' in the years to come.
DINERS' DIETARY RESTRICTIONS TAKEN CARE OF
Very recently, due to popular demand, the new menu has been revised to clearly indicate the dishes which are free of Gluten, Lactose and Yeast. Many dishes can also be modified to be Gluten free or Dairy free. Coeliacs in particular have warmly embraced this concept.
